Family Night!

I didn't get very many good pictures but once a month Majestic Elementary puts together an incredible Family night! We always try to make it so we can meet more of Isaiahs friends and watch him interact with them. If you know Isaiah then you know watching him beats any comedy out there! This month they invited everyone to Classic Fun Center for Rollerskating. While Andrew & I had fun, Isaiah grew frustrated with the crowd and fell quite a few times. After being up past his bed time,3 nights in a row, I think we finally wore him out!
Proud Parent!

This is Isaiah's most recent spelling test. To those of you with younger kids, you may not appreciate this but- to those of you with school age kids, you will understand where Im coming from. A few weeks ago Isaiah brought home a spelling test and his score was 4/10! YIKES! Needless to say, we have been practicing EVERYWHERE. We spell in the car, we spell at the grocery store, we e-mail each other!!!! And our hard work finally paid off! Way to go ISAIAH!!! Dad & I are SO proud of you!

Weekend in Idaho Falls

Last weekend we made a short trek to Idaho Falls for a Memorial Service for Andrews Grandpa who died earlier this month. It is always a good to see distant family and reconnect, even if the terms we met for were unfavorable. The good news is I learned several things this past weekend that taught me a lot about life, death and myself. In retrospect I have to say I wish we'd put as much time and effort into our families and relationships when we're alive as we do when one of our loved ones moves on. Death, at least for me, always sparks feelings of gratitude and regret. Gratitude to my family and friends and regret for not making more of the short time we will have with each other in this lifetime. I apologize to those of you I have neglected and I hope to become a better mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend through this experience. I love you all!
R.I.P. Grandpa. You will be missed!
