For Sale........Husband

Tall, Handsom, handy, hard worker very well mannered and extremely polite. Doesn't like talking much, easy to please. $Make an Offer$ Comes with enormous knife collection. Combined Deal. Offer not valid seperate from knife collection. Buyer must take both. Several knives pictured, but I didn't open ANY drawers.

Oh- on second thought- I'll keep him, he is pretty amazing but I almost died when I saw my family room had been taken over with knives. This is what Andrew inherited, along with a Parrot, from Grandpa Orvall, when he passed away.

Lord help me be the kind of wife, my mother is. Calm, cool and collected.

Flag Football

Isaiah had his first flag football game this morning! Well, not really, they canceled Isaiah's first Flag Football game due to standing water on the field! The coaches got together and decided to have a practice game since everyone was there already. It was 45 degrees out this morning and Isaiah decided not to heed my warning about it being FREEZING outside and maybe wearing a hoodie under his jersey. ??? I think he'll listen to me next time- LOL. It's always better when they decide for themselves that maybe this time, just this once....maybe Mom was right. It's a small victory for me- but I'll take it. And even though they don't actually keep score in this league, Im pretty sure we got whipped! Good thing it was just a practice.

At Last...........

The Adoption is FINAL! Yep! FINAL!!! It has taken a day or two to let it really set-in but, it's over! I had no idea how much weight this process had put on my shoulders, so to have the adoption actually be final really feels incredible. After court and breakfast that morning we went to the Vital Records office and had Isaiah's new birth certificate printed and we even ordered his new SS Card, so everything was all done by the time we had our BBQ that evening.
We had amazing support from our family and friends both at the court house and our BBQ. It's impossible to put into words the feelings I had when I'd look around and see all of the people who came out of the wood works to support and celebrate with us. Thank you all! I know I didn't get a chance to say Hi and personally thank everyone who was there ~ but we truly were touched by your presence. Love, ~The Kimballs~

Adoption At Last.......

Words CANNOT express what I felt when Andrew called me at work today to tell me he finally heard back from our lawyer and we have an adoption date! April 20Th is our big day! Just 19 days shy of our one year anniversary. What a process this has been.

This picture is the first picture of the three of us together, it was taken in November of 2003. While we have lived and loved as a family for years, I can't wait for it to be official.

Having said that ~ I'd like to take a minute and thank EVERYONE who has helped us come this far with our adoption process! Every dime that was donated to our cause on our wedding day has been put to good use and appreciated more than words can express. Being this close to having our dream come true feels unreal and we can't thank you all enough!

We're not sure what we will do to celebrate so party plans will follow at a later time and we hope you can all come celebrate with us!
